Annual Report for 2023 – 2024
Welcome to the Working Together Annual Report, covering the year 1st July 2023 to 30th June 2024
Working Together has continued to grow and develop as an organisastion and we are grateful to our members, families and carers for their ongoing support.
We continue to increase the numbers attending our daytime opportunities and increase
the range of activities we have on offer – whilst retaining our focus on food production
and independent living skills.
Our Youth Club (11-18yrs) and Diversity Club (18+ yrs) are both flourishing. We are seeing
a good number of our Youth Club members moving up into Diversity when the time
comes – which is very pleasing to see.
Behind the scenes we continue to develop as a sustainable organisation. We have taken
on more building management responsibilities for the space we have at Rockspring and
have employed a Caretaker & Compliance Assistant to help with this.
We are working with Shropshire Council on long term lease arrangements to enable us develop our space into the best that it can be for our members, families and carers.
But a building is just a building. It’s our members, families and carers, our dedicated staff
team, our Rockspring volunteers, our Bookshop volunteers and our Community Garden
volunteers together with our Trustees that make Working Together the vibrant and
supportive community that it is. We are grateful to everyone involved for all of your
support and hard work.
We would also take this opportunity to thank our funders, donors and supporters for
their ongoing commitment to all that we do – it is very much appreciated.
