Annual Report for 2024 – 2025
Working Together continues to thrive. We are grateful to our members, families and carers for their ongoing support. Over the past year we have been able to increase the number of members attending daytime opportunities, both by being able to offer additional places and also introducing new members to the WT family.
We continue, as an organisation, to maintain our focus on food production and independent living skills whilst also developing the range of activities and opportunities that we are able to offer, including through our custodianship of the Rockspring Community Garden and opportunities provided by our Charity Bookshop.
Our Youth Club (11-18yrs) is flourishing, and we were thrilled to be awarded a further three years of funding from Children in Need to continue the brilliant support our dedicated staff team is able to offer.
Diversity Club (18+ yrs) is enjoyed by many, including members moving from Youth Club into fully fledged Diversity members, joining in with an increasing range of social activities and opportunities offered – which is very pleasing to see.
Behind the scenes we strive to make Working Together an inclusive, safe, enriching and enjoyable environment for all our members, their families, carers and support workers. Negotiations continue with Shropshire Council for a long term lease for our space at Rockspring. This would enable us to develop our facilities into the best possible for Working Together, now and into the future.
Working Together is a whole team effort – our members, their families and carers, our dedicated staff team, our Rockspring volunteers, our Bookshop volunteers, our Community Garden volunteers, our Trustees, our supporters, funders and donors – all help to make Working Together the vibrant, positive and supportive community that it is.
Thank you.
