WORKING TOGETHER JUBILEE SPECIAL
Our members have been busy celebrating the Platinum Jubilee. Some of our daytime members visited the Hands Together Jubilee Fete at Helena Lane.
We had a go on the tombola, bought some plants from the plant stall and enjoyed an ice-cream. Thanks to Hands Together for putting on such a lovely afternoon.
Diversity members made jubilee bunting to add to the jubilee display and took part in a special jubilee quiz.
Our Youth Club members made Jubilee Cream Teas, before inviting friends, family and carers to join them to celebrate the occasion.
During the evening , Chief Office Nigel, presented some of the Youth Club members with their Kitchen Driving Licences – members have learned all about kitchen and cooking skills while practising making their Jubilee teas.
Nigel said, “well done to everyone for gaining their awards and for all the hard work put in to earn their awards.” Well done everyone.

Sarah would like to say thank you to everyone who supported her and donated to WT.
Our Platinum Jubilee Display…

We may not have entered any of the Ludlow window display competitions, but our members still got to work putting on our very own Jubilee display at Rockspring.
We decorated Jubilee Crowns, some of which were fixed to the A E Housman Cheery Tree at St Laurence’s Church.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR VOLUNTEERS
Working Together is a big family and it takes lots of different people, with lots of different skills, to keep an organisation like ours running.
We definitely wouldn’t be able to offer such a wonderfully broad range of activities, clubs and support to our Members without the enormous contribution made by our fantastic volunteers!
On behalf of the Members, staff and Trustees, we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our volunteers – for your time and commitment to Working Together – we really appreciate it.
Thank you
Working Together Film Night – a date for your diary
We are pleased to announce that Ray Jacobs, from Arty Party Telford, has agreed to put on a private screening of his three Arty Party short films, Secret Lives, which are adapted from original stories by best-selling fantasy author Jeff Vandermeer.
The award-winning films star actors with learning disabilities (including Chloe, one of our members) and are shared at film festivals world-wide.
We have arranged to hold the screening on Wednesday 26th October at Ludlow Assembly Rooms – more details to follow.
This Saturday… Ludlow Eco Carnival
Some Youth Club members are joining in the Carnival parade. Anyone is welcome to join and walk with us. We’re meeting at Ludlow Brewery at 1.30pm. The theme is Our Beautiful Earth…
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A WT SUPPORTED ACTIVITY.
