Shropshire Council Direct Payment Event
We’ve been asked to share this from Shropshire Council’s Adult Social Care team. It’s for anyone who has eligible needs for social care support and who lives in the Shropshire Council area.
“Direct Payments are a preferred model for funded support to enable people to have control and flexibility in how their assessed eligible needs are met.”
“This approach is person centred, enabling people to be heard and to direct how they wish their needs to be met. It’s powerful to listen to people who have direct payments speak about the difference this makes for them, their lives and their families.”
“If you would like to hear about developments that have gone on in the last year please book a place at the online event”
Events are being held on 22 March from 10am to 1pm and on 24 March from 1pm to 4pm.

Good Luck Nicola…
This week we’re saying good luck (but hopefully not good bye) to Nicola B.
Nicola, who many of you will know from Diversity and from our Zoom Yoga, is moving to live in France. But don’t worry, Nicola hopes to continue to run the Zoom Yoga from across the Channel.
We’re making Yoga videos this week so we can keep it up until she can join us again live.
Good luck Nicola…
Writers’ Club… Canada, by Rachael
Canada is a very big country on the continent of North America. The capital is Ottawa but the biggest city in Canada is Toronto. I have been to Canada several times, including when I was a toddler and for my 18th birthday.
The Anne of Green Gables series of novels is set in Canada, on Prince Edward Island. Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.) is the smallest Canadian province.
Quebec, where most people speak French as their first language, is the largest province.
Becky’s Been Busy…
We love to see the fabulous work that our super talented members have been doing.
Becky’s been busy producing this incredible artwork…
