Working Together’s new Chief Officer…
It is with great pleasure that I am able to inform you on behalf of the Trustees, that Nigel Bishop will be the new Chief Officer for Working Together following the recent recruitment process. I am sure you will all join us in congratulating him on his appointment.
Nigel has been the interim manager during an extremely difficult time bringing much needed calmness, sensitivity and stability. The future is going to bring new challenges for everyone but Working Together will continue to find ways to support its members in the best way possible under Nigel’s leadership.
Let’s hope it will not be too long before we can all meet together to celebrate Working Together’s past, present and bright looking future.

CARDBOARD WANTED
We’ve already mentioned our plans to grow vegetables in the Rockspring Community Garden.
We’re maintaining a bed at the top of the garden, but we are keen to make sure the other beds don’t become overgrown again and are in good shape to start planting up in the spring.
To do this, we’re going to put manure on the beds and cover them with cardboard to prevent the weeds from growing back.
We need any spare cardboard that we can get our hands on – the bigger the better – as there is a lot of ground to cover!
So, please send us any spare cardboard you have: contact us: 07896 415643 to organise a Covid Safe drop off…
NHS Spitfire flies over Ludlow…
THANK U NHS was the message written on the Spitfire as it flew over Ludlow Hospital to pay tribute to NHS and Key Workers. On Tuesday, members gathered at the top of the Rockspring Community Garden to wave to the plane as it passed over the town.
Coffee Donation
Roger Hall phoned and made a Covid Safe appointment to visit Rockspring – and brought with him a milk bottle full of money!
As a regular visitor to the café before lockdown, Roger has been putting aside the money he would have spent on coffees here at WT and popped in this week to hand over the donation.
What a great idea… Thank you Roger and we very much look forward to the time when the WT café is open again and Roger can join us for his usual coffee 🙂
The Ludlow Fringe Festival Bunting Trail…
Thanks to everyone who has sent us bunting trail pictures – and please keep on sending them in to manager@workingtogetherludlow.co.uk as we love to see them all.
