The NEW Working Together Charity Bookshop
We are excited to announce the opening of the Working Together Charity Bookshop in Craven Arms.
It is hoped the shop will not only provide a valuable income stream for the charity, but also an opportunity for our members to be involved in some of the sorting and cataloguing of donations and, in the longer term, some opportunities for supported volunteering/work experience in the shop itself, together with a welcoming destination for travel training and independent living skills.
We are very grateful to the Furniture Scheme – now part of Wrekin Housing Group – for providing us with the opportunity to take over the running of what is said to be one of the best second hand bookshops in the Marches. We’re also pleased to be welcoming the excellent group of bookshop volunteers to the Working Together family.
James Cooper, Commercial Manager at the Wrekin Housing Group, said:
“When it was decided we could no longer continue as custodians of the Charity Bookshop, we were very keen to see it transferred to a local charity who shared our values.
The bookshop is run by an amazing team of enthusiastic, knowledgeable and committed volunteers and I’m sure they will continue to make it a success under new management and raise valuable funds to support the excellent work of Working Together.”
A New Venture…

Join us…
Join us for cake and a chat on Monday 6th September volunteers and staff will be on hand between 10.30 and 230pm to tell you all about Working Together and future plans for the Bookshop.
The Bookshop will reopen on 7th September and will be opening Tuesdays to Saturdays.
