A big hats off to Steph…
Everyone wants to say a big thank you to Steph for raising money for Working Together.
Through the lockdowns Steph has been knitting woolly hats and selling them to raise money for a couple of charities.
She’s now received all of the money and donated an incredible £126 to Working Together.
WOW – thanks Steph!!!
WT Café Reopening
We’ll soon be welcoming Working Together family and friends back to our café for a cuppa and a piece of cake.
We won’t be opening to the public for a while yet but if our supporters would like to join us we’d be pleased to hear from you.
We’re asking that you give us a quick call beforehand on 01584 318925 – to let us know your coming and to help us manage numbers.
Some restrictions remain in place at the moment to be sure we can keep everyone safe.
If case numbers continue to fall and guidance allows we may be able to open the café for drop ins later in the year.
Youth Club Summer BBQ…
The last Youth Club session before the summer break was a BBQ down on the Linney in Ludlow. It was the first time that both Youth Club groups had been able to get together and enjoy a session all together.
The weather was lovely and everyone had a great time…
We look forward to seeing everyone again in September and hope you all have a great summer holiday…
As part of our Olympics theme, we’ve been trying our hand at shūji, or Japanese
calligraphy as it’s also known.
In Japanese Shuji means learning how to write letters and we had fun learning how to write Peace, Hope, Faith, Love, Strength and Family…
Three locomotives in a row…
Tim has sent us a picture from his volunteering work at Welshpool & Llanfair Railway.
“Just another day at Llanfair Station – waiting for the 11.30 passengers to arrive so Tim can wave them back in and assist with disembarking.“
